I was so honored when Paul and Jordana contacted me to photograph their wedding. I have known Paul a long time and he could not have married a sweeter girl. These two exude happiness. I expect they get it from their family. Both sets of parents had toasts ready for the special day and kept the room in stitches. There is really no better way to ensure a happy marriage than constant laughter. The details were perfect. I mean, who wouldn’t love everything beer themed?!! To the cake topper beer mugs saying “We Do” to the beer styles as the table assignments. It was a beer snob’s (*self-proclaimed beer snob here*) dream! According to the weather reports, it looked like it may be a wash…but, it held off and turned into a perfect day! I loved that they made it a point to go out onto the pier by themselves […]
Cameron. I just love this kid. I’m so honored to take his photos for all of his milestones. I love it so much! He is so smiley and sweet. This guy also welcomed his little brother into the world within days of his birthday!
I am completely smitten with this little guy. I was in his mommy and daddy’s wedding 7 years ago. I took his older brother’s newborn photos almost exactly 1 year ago and that same brother’s 1 year old photos within day’s of Connor’s arrival. You got that right…these two boys are not quite 1 year apart in age. Mommy and Daddy will have their hands full, but they are also so lucky to have such handsome little men on their hands. I know they will be best friends and cannot wait for many play dates in our future.
no images were found THIS GIRL. This girl blew me away. I have not had anyone rock the serious look like Alexis does. Personally, I cannot pull off a serious look to save my life. I was so honored to photograph this gorgeous girl. Her mother and I have been friends since high school. I remember her when she was so little. It is hard to believe Alexis is starting her senior year! She has grown into such a beautiful woman and I know she will strive to be the best she can be. It’s in her genes. This was also my first collaboration with the incredibly talented Taylor Hare with Hare Makeup Artistry. We are teaming up to offer hair & makeup for photography sessions (when schedules align, of course.) I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from this session. It was so hard to chose!
Part 3 of 3 :: Gary Kids The Gary kids are just so sweet. I am so used to chasing little kids around, it was a breeze taking photos of these guys. Loved them!
Part 2 of 3 :: Morgan & Blake Morgan is gorgeous. Blake is handsome. Incredibly photogenic siblings. I could not stop snapping.
Part I of 3 :: The Sullivans In July, I visited my family in Spring Hill, TN for some quality time before my oldest starts kindergarten this year (*tear.) My mom had asked for me to do some sessions while I was in town for her friends and co-workers. Sure, why not?! I love finding new locations and Tennessee is so beautiful! The Sullivans decided on a multi-family session. ☺ My other sessions with Morgan & Blake and the Gary Kids are coming in more posts!
This past December, Ivon and I had a very specific idea for her engagement photos. The plan was to go to downtown DC and get some urban shots at Union Station of the soon to be bride and groom. It was early December and we certainly didn’t anticipate a winter storm. The week leading up to the session, we chatted and decided we should only reschedule if absolutely necessary because the wedding was only 3 months away. The weathermen were calling for sleet. Sleet is not so pretty, nor fun to drive in and none of us wanted to head down to DC in that type of weather. So, after watching the weather closely, we decided to make the best of it but change locations. Ivon had a great idea to go to Clyde’s Restaurant on the Columbia waterfront, where they had their first date. I can handle that. It’s […]
Eeekk…my very first blog post! I am so excited to be able to share my work here! I am still reeling with all of the wonderful feedback and support I have received since I started this journey last year. Let’s start off with an assortment of my very favorite images to date.
